- On Nov. 21, 2016, a school bus in Chattanooga, Tennessee crashes. Five students from Woodmore Elementary School are killed in the crash, 4 girls and 1 boy; 6 others are in intensive care. The crash takes place during the kids' afternoon ride home from school. Johnthony K. Walker, the bus driver, is charged with vehicular homicide after it is discovered he was speeding and driving recklessly.
