John Kasich sat next to U2 frontman Bono at the meeting. Kasich went on to become Governor of Ohio in 2011. Over the years, John Kasich has mentioned his good friend Bono numerous times, as pointed out by Jimmy Fallon during an episode of The Tonight Show in June 2015.
