When free spirit Dharma Finkelstein (Elfman) and blue-blooded attorney Greg Montgomery (Gibson) marry after just one date, both sets of parents have a difficult time coping with their new in-laws. Dharma's parents are hippies who taught her to shun convention, and Greg's expected their son to marry someone of similar pedigree. A critical and ratings hit, Dharma & Greg has been the one saving grace for an otherwise dismal season for ABC.
