Lewis Dominic THILL, Congress, WI (1903-1975)
THILL Lewis Dominic , a Representative from Wisconsin; born in Milwaukee, Wis., October 18, 1903; attended the public and parochial schools and was graduated from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wis., in 1926; attended Harvard Graduate School, and Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill.; was graduated from the law department of the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1931; was admitted to the bar in 1932 and commenced practice in Milwaukee, Wis.; elected as a Republican to the Seventy-sixth and the Seventy-seventh Congresses (January 3, 1939-January 3, 1943); unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1942 to the Seventy-eighth Congress and for election in 1944 to the Seventy-ninth Congress; engaged in real estate and investment business; resided in San Diego, Calif., where he died May 6, 1975; entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum.
