Grant Earl MOUSER, Congress, OH (1868-1949)
MOUSER Grant Earl , a Representative from Ohio; born in Larue, Marion County, Ohio, September 11, 1868; attended the Larue Union Schools and Ada University, Ada, Ohio; was graduated from the Cincinnati Law School in 1890; was admitted to the bar the same year and commenced practice in Marion, Ohio; prosecuting attorney of Marion County 1893-1896; delegate to many State conventions; elected as a Republican to the Fifty-ninth and Sixtieth Congresses (March 4, 1905-March 3, 1909); unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1908 to the Sixty-first Congress; delegate to the Republican National Convention in 1908; resumed the practice of law in Marion; judge of the court of common pleas of Marion County 1916-1925; resumed the practice of law until 1935 when he retired; died in Marion, Ohio, May 6, 1949; interment in Marion Cemetery.
