Age: 58Canadian Olympic Association CEO and the official who took Ben Johnson's medal away at the 1988 Seoul Olympics; one of 14 women on the International Olympic Committee at the time of her death; member of the IOC co-ordinating committee for the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics; former intercollegiate provincial badminton champion; officiated gymnastics at the 1976 and 1984 Olympics as well as five world championships; a COA director since 1981 and appointed CEO in 1994; praised for her handling of the Johnson drug scandal, which was her springboard to an IOC seat in 1990. She died of a brain aneurysm.
