Age: 84longtime hockey referee who worked at all levels, including the NHL for 10 years; referee in chief of the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association for 10 years; president of the Ontario Hockey Association from 1976–78; officiated more than 25 years of soccer; one of the three Canadians with credentials to ref a game anywhere in the world; coached the Hamilton Steelers pro soccer team; remembered for throwing Maurice Richard out of a game in Montreal; after a history of health problems
