This video demonstrates the neutralization reaction that takes place when combining a strong acid (hydrochloric acid) with a strong base (sodium hydrochloride). The demonstration takes place in a safe lab environment, and documents the color changes which take place during the reaction process as various amounts of sodium hydrochloride are added to the hydrochloric acid.
