The eight regional winners of the 48-team field: NORTHEAST— St. Rose, N.Y. (26-5); EAST— Salem-Teikyo, W. Va. (28-3); SOUTH ATLANTIC— Lander, S.C. (25-6); SOUTH— Florida Southern (27-7); SOUTH CENTRAL— Truman State, Mo. (25-6); GREAT LAKES— Kentucky Wesleyan (32-2); NORTH CENTRAL— Metropolitan State, Colo. (26-5); WEST— CS-San Bernardino (23-7).
The Elite Eight was played March 17-20, at the Commonwealth Convention Center in Louisville, Ky. There was no Third Place game.
