*Lewis won the vacant WBC Heavyweight title after the fight was stopped 55 seconds into round five because a visibly distraught McCall started crying and stopped punching. The title became vacant after the WBC stripped Mike Tyson of the heavyweight belt for not fighting Lewis, the mandatory challenger, and instead fighting Bruce Seldon in September of 1996.
