†Interim title.
*Noel Arambulet could not defend his title in December 1999 becasue of a viral infection, and Joma Gamboa became the interim champion by beating Satoru Abe to take the vacant interim title. On Aug. 20, Arambulet failed to make weight for his match with Gamboa and even if he had won he would not have kept his title.
