LEDERER Raymond Francis , a Representative from Pennsylvania; born in Philadelphia, Pa., May 19, 1938; attended the Catholic schools of Philadelphia; graduated from Roman Catholic High School, 1956; attended St. Joseph's College of Philadelphia, 1960-1965, Community College of Philadelphia, 1967-1969, Pennsylvania State University, University Park, 1972; assistant engineer, Pennsylvania Department of Highways, 1957; probation officer, later director, Philadelphia Probation Department, 1967-1974; board member, Pennsylvania Committee on Probation; member, Pennsylvania house of representatives, 1974-1977; elected as a Democrat to the Ninety-fifth, Ninety-sixth and Ninety-seventh Congresses and served from January 3, 1977, until his resignation on April 29, 1981; died on December 1, 2008, in Philadelphia, Pa.
