Edward Everett ESLICK, Congress, TN (1872-1932)
ESLICK Edward Everett , a Representative from Tennessee; born near Pulaski, Giles County, Tenn., April 19, 1872; attended the public schools and Bethel College, Russellville, Ky.; studied law; was admitted to the bar in 1893 and commenced practice in Pulaski; also engaged in banking and agricultural pursuits; served as Government appeal agent for Giles County during the First World War; elected as a Democrat to the Sixty-ninth and to the three succeeding Congresses and served from March 4, 1925, until his death in the Capitol, at Washington, D.C., on June 14, 1932, while addressing the House of Representatives; interment in Maplewood Cemetery, Pulaski, Tenn.
