The following table lists the U.S. Open golf champions since 1895. The record for most wins is a four-way tie between Willie Anderson (1901, 1903, 1904, 1905), Robert T. Jones Jr. (1923, 1926, 1929, 1930), Ben Hogan (1948, 1950, 1951, 1953), and Jack Nicklaus (1962, 1967, 1972, 1980).
