Freddie Norwood beat Antonio Cermeno for the vacant title on April 3, successfully defended it twice, but then lost the belt when he failed make his weight at the weigh-in of his Sept. 22 fight with Koji Matsumoto. Cermeno then won the vacant WBA title on Oct. 3.
*Lizarraga won the vacant IBF title.
