John Weitz
Age: 79German-born fashion designer who also had a successful career as a writer and historian. Weitz was one of the first designers to license his name for products such as socks, ties, and cologne. He worked for the Office of Strategic Services before embarking on a career in fashion. His books include Hitler's Diplomat: The Life and Times of Joachim von Ribbentrop. His sons are the film directors Paul and Christopher Weitz.
