Wanxian

Wanxian wän-shēĕn [key], city (1994 est. pop. 258,500), E Sichuan prov., China, an important port on the Chang River at the beginning of the Chang gorges. It is an administrative and commercial center. The name sometimes appears as Wan-hsien.
