Finally, a realistic portrait of contemporary family life, where kids don't talk like they're psychoanalysts, the home is not straight out of Martha Stewart Living, and the parents don't always know what's best for their kids. Mitch (Tenney) and Mary (Farentino) live in close quarters with their three children (Hathaway, Olsen, and Eisenberg), and Mary's recently widowed mother (Pickles) and try to face the chaos with a sense of humor.
