It's a Slippery Slope

Gray's latest monologue reels with the same crazy humor as Gray's Anatomy and Monster. This time out, however, he reveals with characteristic rapier wit how his passion for skiing changed his life, putting him in touch with his WASPy New England childhood. Dressed in the appropriate aprés-ski flannel, Gray leads his audience on a veritable verbal slalom, frosting stories about his encounters with some eccentric ski folk. But the silver-haired performer doesn't play his love of the slopes just for laughs; gliding into his monologue are touching revelations about his father's death, the breakup of his long-term relationship and his mother's suicide. Gray's path may be a slippery slope, but it's one well worth plunging down.
