It's Paltrow times two in this whimsical but ultimately plodding romantic comedy. The coltish beauty plays a British PR exec named Helen whose life forks into parallel plots: Helen #1 catches her daily commute train, while Helen #2 misses it. The film explores the impact of this split-second twist of fate; after catching the train, Helen #1 ends up catching her boyfriend in bed with another woman, while Helen #2 misses the train and all subsequent clues about her lover's unfaithfulness. In the end, the film's intriguing premise is not so much a question of karma, but which Helen has the best hairdo.
