This is no ordinary film; but that's not saying it's extraordinary. Not by a longshot. The run of hits by threesome Boyle, Hodge and MacDonald had to end eventually, and with A Life Less Ordinary, they have run up against a brick wall. Downsized janitor Robert (McGregor) bursts into his former boss's (Holm) office, pistol in hand, ready to threaten the miser. Opportunity knocks when Robert finds the boss and his daughter, Celine (Diaz), having a heart to heart. Robert kidnaps Celine, only to find her a willing hostage who wants to bilk dad out of some ransom. Thrown into the mess are gun-toting angel cops Jackson (Lindo) and O'Reilly (Hunter) who are dispatched to unite two unlikely souls. Any guesses who that'd be?
