The Last Big Thing

Zukovic's satire on media obsession and pop culture misses the mark. The director, who also penned the screenplay, plays Simon Geist, a journalist who uses his nonexistent magazine, The Last Big Thing, as a front to interview up-and-coming stars and then lambaste them for their shameless self-promotion. His neurotic roommate, Darla (Heimbinder), is creating her own 'zine devoted to chronicling Simon's rants.
