Richard Dreyfuss plays a nutty anthropology professor who fabricates the discovery of a New Guinea tribe after he uses grant money to pay the family's bills. Jenna Elfman (of TV's Dharma and Greg) is delightful as the ambitious and amorous assistant. But if this movie's forced sentiment doesn't stop you mid-chuckle, it's racist overtones will.
