A flood of top-quality digital effects can't keep this high-concept action caper from sinking. When driving rains flood an Indiana town, a group of crooks led by Jim (Freeman) plan to rob an armored car. They don't anticipate an obstacle in the car's plucky driver, Tom (Slater), who stashes the $3 million. The thieves pursue Tom through the underwater town on speedboats and Jet Skis in what are supposed to be edge-of-your-seat sequences. Instead, they're absurdly dull and contrived. Greed muddies the waters when it comes to who's good and who's bad, though there's no question who'll end up with his head above water.
