Katrina Price
Age: 23Stephen F. Austin's all-time leading scorer with 2,278 career points and two-time Southland Conference player of the year; a third-team All-America selection her senior season (1997-98), Price averaged 22.1 points and 5.3 rebounds a game; seventh overall pick of the Long Beach StingRays in the 1998 ABL draft, but the team disbanded before she could play a game and she was placed on the Philadelphia Rage roster in August; she was a reserve guard, playing in 12 of the Rage's 14 games before the league shut down in late December. Price died of a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head.
