Horace Marden Albright

Birthplace: Bishop, Calif.
After earning a law degree from the University of California, he became an official of the U.S. Department of the Interior where he helped found the National Park Service. He was superintendent of Yellowstone National Park from 1919–29. In 1933 he began his business career with United States Potash Company where he was vice president and general manager, becoming president in 1946.
