Cuban exile and suspected terrorist, was arrested by U.S. immigration officials in May and charged with illegal entry. He is suspected of masterminding the 1976 bombing of a Cuban airplane that killed 73 people. He was a CIA operative and a spy for Venezuela in the 1960s and '70s. Both Cuba and Venezuela, Cuba's closest ally, have requested that Posada be extradited. Posada escaped from a Venezuelan jail during his trial for the airliner bombing.
