U.S. Army reservist, in January was found guilty by a military jury of abusing prisoners at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq. The jury sentenced him to serve ten years in a military prison. He was convicted of all charges, including assault, conspiracy, and maltreatment of detainees. He was described by the prosecution as the ringleader of the group of soldiers that physically and sexually abused and humiliated Iraqi prisoners.
