Serena won three consecutive Grand Slam tournaments: the French Open in June, Wimbledon in July, and the U.S. Open in September, earning herself a No. 1 ranking. It hasn't been a bad year for Venus, either. She's ranked No. 2, and made it to the finals in three of the year's four Grand Slam events. She placed No. 2, behind little sister Serena, in the U.S. and French Opens.
