The play's topics range from childbirth to orgasm to rape. The move raised eyebrows not only because of the subject matter, but also because the playwright is a close friend and supporter of Hillary Rodham Clinton, who is running for the U.S. Senate against Giuliani. Hanover postponed her performance days after her husband announced he has prostate cancer.
