39, former Marine, was convicted of 11 counts of first-degree murder in February by a Orange County, Calif., jury. He was charged with killing 12 people, but the jury deadlocked on one count. The murders of seven men, three women, and two infant boys occurred in 1984 and 1985. Ng's accomplice, Leonard Lake, committed suicide in 1985.
