Richard COKE, Jr., Congress, VA (1790-1851)
COKE Richard, Jr. , a Representative from Virginia; born in Williamsburg, Va., November 16, 1790; completed preparatory studies, and was graduated from the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Va.; studied law; was admitted to the bar and commenced practice in Gloucester County, Va.; elected as a Jacksonian to the Twenty-first and Twenty-second Congresses (March 4, 1829-March 3, 1833); died on his plantation, ``Abingdon Place,'' in Gloucester County, Va., March 31, 1851; interment in the family burying ground on the estate.
