John Fryall SNODGRASS, Congress, VA (1804-1854)

SNODGRASS John Fryall , a Representative from Virginia; born in Berkeley County, Va. (now West Virginia), March 2, 1804; completed preparatory studies; studied law; was admitted to the bar in 1843 and commenced practice in Parkersburg, Va.; delegate to the State constitutional convention in 1850 and 1851; elected as a Democrat to the Thirty-third Congress and served from March 4, 1853, until his death in Parkersburg, Va. (now West Virginia), June 5, 1854; interment in Riverview Cemetery, Parkersburg, Wood County, Va. (Now W. Va.).
