Isaac Clinton KLINE, Congress, PA (1858-1947)
KLINE Isaac Clinton , a Representative from Pennsylvania; born in Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County, Pa., August 18, 1858; attended the public schools, the State normal school, Bloomsburg, Pa., and Bucknell Academy, Lewisburg, Pa.; was graduated from Lafayette College, Easton, Pa., in 1893; taught school five years before entering college; studied law; was admitted to the bar in 1894 and commenced practice in Sunbury; unsuccessful candidate for election in 1912 to the Sixty-third Congress; elected as a Republican to the Sixty-seventh Congress (March 4, 1921-March 3, 1923); unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1922 to the Sixty-eighth Congress; resumed the practice of his profession in Sunbury, Pa.; died in De Land, Fla., December 2, 1947; interment in Pomfret Manor, Sunbury, Pa.
