Ephraim King WILSON, Congress, MD (1771-1834)
WILSON Ephraim King , a Representative from Maryland; born near Snow Hill, Somerset (now Worcester) County, Md., September 15, 1771; received instruction in private schools and was graduated from Princeton College in 1790; studied law; was admitted to the bar in 1792 and commenced practice in Snow Hill, Md.; elected to the Twentieth Congress and reelected as a Jacksonian to the Twenty-first Congress (March 4, 1827-March 3, 1831); was not a candidate for renomination in 1830 to the Twenty-second Congress; resumed the practice of law until his death in Snow Hill, Md., on January 2, 1834; interment in the Makemie Presbyterian Churchyard.
