Age: 49former New England Patriots offensive tackle, who teamed with Hall of Famer John Hannah in a formidable blocking duo in the 1970s; waiver-wire selection in 1973; played six seasons and appeared in two Pro Bowls (1976 and 1978); played for Houston and New Orleans before retiring in 1983. The cause of his death was not given.
