Northwestern University senior starting safety, who died following conditioning drills at the school; started all 12 games and had 88 tackles, a fumble recovery and three pass breakups for the Wildcats' team that tied for the Big Ten title in 2000; played eight games as a sophomore and five as a freshman; his death came two days after the death of Korey Stringer, the Vikings' lineman who suffered heat stroke at the team's training camp and died. He died of an fatal asthma attack.
