Heinz Prechter

car-parts manufacturer who came to the U.S. in 1964 as an exchange student from Bavaria and started making sunroofs in his garage. His company grew into an industry giant, with annual sales of a half billion dollars. He was a major contributor to the campaigns of both Presidents Bush. He committed suicide.
