Zeljko Raznatovic

Serbian paramilitary leader whose followers, the Tigers, allegedly murdered hundreds of Bosnian Croats in a 1992 attempt to ethnically cleanse northern and eastern Bosnia of the Croat minority. He also led his Tigers in the bloody 1991 siege of Vukovar, Croatia. He was allied with Serbian president Slobodan Milosevic. Raznatovic was indicted in 1997 by the war crimes tribunal on charges of crimes against humanity. He was gunned down in a hotel lobby in Belgrade.
