Arnie Weinmeister

outstanding defensive tackle who starred on N.Y. Giants teams of the 1950s; career began with N.Y. Yankees of the All-America Football Conference in 1948; joined the NFL's Giants two years later and appeared in three Pro Bowls from 1950-53; elected to Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1984; director and vice president of the 400,000-member Western Conference of Teamsters in the late 1980s and early 90s. He died of congestive heart failure.
