Sir Vivian Fuchs
Age: 91polar explorer who, in 1957, led the first expedition across Antarctica. A risk-taker by nature, Fuchs undertook risky treks well into his 70s. He led the British Antarctic Survey, and discovered that a single land mass sits below Antarctica.
