Al Schill Jr.
Age: 24stock-car racer who won rookie of the year honors at Slinger Raceway (Ore.) and, along with his father, became the first father-son duo in that track's history to finish 1-2 in a feature event; made 53 starts in the NASCAR Re/Max series and its predecessor, the ARTGO Challenge Series. Schill was found dead in his car in the garage by his girlfriend who was awakened by a carbon monoxide detector.
