Age: 78first head coach of the Houston Oilers who still holds the franchise's best career record (12-7-1); lead the team to its first AFL championship in 1960; fired after team lost three of its first five games in 1961; earned a Super Bowl ring as offensive line coach with Baltimore in 1971; a star offensive tackle at Notre Dame, Rymkus played for Washington in the NFL before joining the military; played six seasons after the war for Paul Brown's Cleveland Browns; of a lengthy illness
