Age: 85a former All-Star with the Washington Redskins who played in the most lopsided game in NFL history; played tackle from 1935-1941 and started on the 1940 Washington team which lost the NFL Championship Game 73-0 to George Halas's Bears; after leaving football he joined Hatch Sporting Goods in Spokane, Wash. and became vice president and general manager; after a move to G.C. George Securities, Inc., Barber bought the brokerage firm of L.L. Nicholls Co. which he operated until his retirement in 1977; of heart trouble and other complications
