Age: 71Hall of Fame goaltender with Detroit, Toronto and Boston; ranked ninth in career shutouts at the time of his death with 71; helped Detroit win the Stanley Cup in 1950; traded to Toronto in 1952 and won the Vezina Trophy after the 1953-54 season when he had a league best 1.86 GAA and 13 shutouts; retired in 1960 and inducted into the Hall of Fame 20 years later; of a heart attack
