Phil Marchildon
Age: N/Amember of the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame; pitched for hometown team Penetanguishene to numerous Ontario finals in the 1930's; moved to Toronto and played two seasons for the Toronto Maple Leafs; in 1940 he signed to pitch for Connie Mack's Philadelphia Athletics; served three years of military service; returned to baseball and retired from the Boston Red Sox in 1950; cause of death not announced
