H. Richard Hornberger

Hornberger used his experience as a captain in the Army Medical Corps during the Korean War to craft his novel, M*A*S*H, which became a hit movie directed by Robert Altman and the smash CBS television series. He also wrote M*A*S*H Goes to Maine and M*A*S*H Mania.
