As a juvenile actor, Savage made his film debut in The Boy Who Could Fly (1986) and is best known for his starring role as Kevin Arnold in the popular TV series The Wonder Years (1988–93). He was twice nominated for an Emmy for his humorous and touching portrayal of a child of the 1960s approaching adolescence. He was the star of the series Working (1997– 1999). His brother Ben (of the series Boy Meets World) and sister Kala are also actors.
