Who was the voice of Winnie the Pooh?
The Answer:
Sterling Holloway was the original voice of Winnie the Pooh. Holloway died of cardiac arrest in Los Angeles on Nov. 22, 1992. In 1990, Jim Cummings became the new voice of Winnie the Pooh.
Holloway had hundreds of voice credits over his career including the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland (1951), Kaa the snake in The Jungle Book (1967), and Mr. Stork in Dumbo (1941).
