What is the salary of the Speaker of the House of the United States government?
The Answer:
We get lots of mail asking us for information on the salaries of politicians in Washington D.C. Here's a quick look at the House and Senate.
In 2011, the speaker of the House hads a salary of $223,500; the majority and minority leaders and the president pro tempore all had salaries of $193,400; and other U.S. senators and representatives had salaries of $174,000.
